Paint
What is so divine in white.
It can make you want to gag
or clear your throat of the air.
It covers dirt on the walls
scrapes and tiny imperfections.
(So small they’re not even there.)
With god awful names such as:
Prairie Wind, Classic Ivory
Eggshell, and Navajo.
My semi-gloss (water-based)
(it will stain you) oil based,
acrylic (fast drying) Hell.
That only speaks of blandness
and screams to be covered up
by mistakes, dirt, and color.
